About Us

Hospital Guide Foundation (HGF) is an NGO with a vision to revolutionize healthcare in India by making quality healthcare accessible across all sections of society irrespective of economic lines. Started in the year 2012 using the Facebook platform with the support of few esteemed doctors who were willing to help, the NGO (or The Movement as the founder members would like to call it) has moved lock stock and barrel towards rural health care. We believe it is time to concentrate solely on providing quality healthcare in rural India.

Since its inception, HGF has steadily grown from a platform providing patients with referrals and access to doctors to a strong healthcare movement in rural India. Coverage from well known media houses like British medical journal, ANI, India Today, Economic Times (who referred to us as the Makemytrip of Healthcare), etc. were a testimony to our work and the impact we had managed to achieve. HGF's objective is not commercial but driven by a single minded focus of providing healthcare to all sections of society and boasts of a bench strength that has the very best in the medical field. With time, HGF has been able gain the trust and hence been able to collaborate with Government medical bodies in order to achieve its objective.

Being the most stringent form of a NGO, a Company under Section 8 for Charitable Purposes, gives HGF credibility not only domestically but internationally. This license is granted by the Central Government after a rigorous process, involving strict provisions relating to maintenance of accounts and audit. Due to better laws, recognition and administration, this form of NGO has the most reliable organizational structure amongst NGOs in India. This foundation for HGF reinforces its commitment to work towards its vision of providing quality healthcare for all sections of society. With the highly complex and continuously evolving health care industry, we consider this to be an important social initiative for India.
